What we do with your junk

We reuse or recycle as much of your junk as we can. Our first year target is 50% whereas the highest for a London council in 2005 is 30%. Our eventual aim is to recycle 80% of everything we collect.

You will find details of how well we are doing published on this website every few months. When we have to throw things away we choose where and how they get disposed of so as to minimise harm.

Ecojunk's impact on the environment

As a company we minimise our impact on the environment. We are proud to be carbon negative, which is better than carbon neutral. Click to learn more about carbon emissions.

By using LPG trucks our vehicle emissions are much lower than the equivalent diesel.

All the electricity we use is generated by renewable sources; mostly wind-power.

We do not stop there. All our staff are carbon neutral too! Each member of staff has been carbon audited by us and we make sure they are carbon negative as well.
