Service

The high level of service we provide is standard; we do not charge a premium for it. From your first contact with Ecojunk you will always find our Office and Truck staff both very polite and very helpful!

Contact

We ensure you are able to contact us free of charge by either telephone or email.

Visiting times

During the week we always visit you at a convenient time when we are provided with enough notice. We provide you with a two hour slot in which to expect us. Outside of our standard 8am to 6pm working times all collections are by special arrangement. Where there are exceptional circumstances that prevent us meeting your needs you are contacted immediately. Further, you will receive a phone call notifying you that the truck is due approximately ten to twenty minutes prior to its arrival.

Labour

The labour required to load the truck is also always included. In addition we allow for a reasonable amount of time to carry items to the truck. Occasionally, when we are required to either bag or box items or carry them some distance, we exceed this and we reluctantly have to add an extra charge in such cases. The table of Exceptional Charges shows these.

Once we have loaded

Our charges include the real cost of removing, storing, processing and where appropriate disposing of the items we take. We, in turn, use specialist companies who process the various types of junk we encounter and we pay them for their services, not you.

Exceptions

There are a few items that are not included due to regulations or practicality and there are certain items we must charge extra for. These exceptions can be found within the table of Exceptional Charges.

Truck teams

A truck team consists of two, or occasionally three of our staff. They are always polite, careful, thorough, trustworthy, open and hard working. At least one member of staff will have already carried out at least 300 clearances for Ecojunk; for which they will have received only commendations from our clients.

As you can appreciate we encounter a huge variety in the type of clearances we undertake. There is a chance, therefore, that one of the truck team is still being trained in how to deal with your specific situation or the aspects of our work. When this does happen it will in no way interfere or delay the job at hand.
